This Inverclyde charity offers free access to suicide prevention and wellbeing support services.
Led by founder and chief executive Chris Paul, The Anchor was known as "Man on Inverclyde" from its inception in 2020 until December 2024.
The Anchor specialises in offering peer support services to adults, youngsters, and families on a free at the point of delivery basis.
Operating out of 30 Nelson Street, Greenock, The Anchor is a life-saving charity that we take great pleasure in supporting.
Beyond offering advice and mental health support, the Anchor organise days out and sessions for those in need, while further arranging sponsorship drives by embarking on challenges.
Alongside financial pledges to the charity, Safer Group proudly sponsored an inaugural Black Tie Ball held at Greenock Town Hall.
Held on October 11th 2024, close to World Mental Health Day, the event raised funds and awareness for the local mental health services offered with the event also featuring an evening meal, raffle, and live entertainment.
